26 February 2015
analysis

The Sudanese Ministry of Water Resources and Electricity organized on Sunday, February 22, the 2015 Nile Day celebration. It was the first time for the Sudan to organize this celebration, the first one of which was held in 2007, and the first time for Egypt to participate after five years of absence. The delay in the organization and in the participation resulted in a state of confusion in the relationship between the Sudan and Egypt and the Nile Basin Initiative since 2009.
