Uganda: High Commission Visits British Community in Arua

Kampala, Uganda — Consul and Vice Consul engage with British residents in Uganda's North West

From 23 to 24 February, HM Consul Samuel Paice and Vice Consul Chris Majugo visited Arua, a town 270 miles North West of Kampala. They met the British Consular Warden in Arua, Catherine Asiki. They also gave presentations - on consular services and assistance, crisis preparedness and recent changes to consular procedures - to British Nationals living in Arua and the surrounding area. Members of the British community attending the presentations took the opportunity to ask questions about the role of the High Commission and support available to British Nationals in Uganda. On the evening of 24 February, the Consul and Vice Consul hosted a dinner for the British community in Arua.
