The Kenya Ports Authority will conduct an internal probe into the allegations that its senior officers pocketed bribes from Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Company between 2007 and 2011.
Goodyear, a leading tyre company in the world, is said to have paid about Sh135 million in bribes to officials of KPA among other parastatal chiefs, civil servants and the military to land tyre supply deals in Kenya.
