Nigeria: OPC Kicks Against 'Militarisation' of Elections

Lagos — The O'odua Peoples Congress (OPC) has kicked against the alleged plans to militarise forth coming elections by the federal government, saying it is the job of the police and civil defence to monitor polls.

Leader of OPC, Chief Gani Adams, who spoke to journalists at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, also chided INECs level of preparedness to conduct the elections.
