Algeria: Beninese President Receives Messahel, Bearer of Message From President Bouteflika

Cotonou — Beninese President Thomas Boni Yayi received Thursday, in Contonou (Benin), the Minister for Maghreb and African Affairs, Abdelkader Messahel, who brought a message from President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

"President Bouteflika's message focuses on the implementation of decisions made on a common agreement during the Beninese President's visit to Algeria (on February 2nd) which are already effective with the re-opening of the Algerian embassy in Benin," Messahel told the press, at the end of an audience granted to him by President Boni Yayi.
