Nigeria: Ijaw Youths Sign Peace Pact With North, Deny War Threats

Kaduna — Youth from the North and South-South regions at the weekend in Kaduna signed a pact and released birds symbolizing peace at a one day summit organized by the Northern Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) in collaboration with the Ijaw Youth Council World Wide (IYCWW).

At the summit, president of the Ijaw Youth Council World Wide (IYCWW), Comrade Udengs Eradiri said there was no time the Ijaw youths threatened to wage war against the North if President Jonathan is defeated in the 2015 presidential election but condemned attacks on the president.
