Ethiopia: Genzebe Dibaba Sets 5000-Meter World Indoor Record

Ethiopian wonder athlete Genzebe Dibaba has further cemented her reputation as one of the best indoor runners ever by running the 5,000 metres at the time of 14:18.86 to shatter the world indoor record at the 2015 International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) indoor race that took place in the capital of Sweden, Stockholm on Thursday.

At the XL Galan meet in Stockholm, Sweden, Genzebe took more than five seconds off the previous record of 14:24.37, held by fellow Ethiopian Meseret Defar in 2009.
