East African Portland Cement has posted a Sh67.85 million half year net loss despite a higher tax credit compared to a Sh183.46 million after-tax profit in a similar period in 2013/14.
Profit for the the State-controlled cement maker, which is listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange was dragged down by revenue decline, higher costs of sales and loan repayments.
