Nigeria: Gunmen Kill Four in Port Harcourt

Port Harcourt — The Rivers State police command yesterday confirmed the killing of four persons in a gun duel between the police and armed robbers at Agip area of Port Harcourt.

Although, details of the incident were sketchy at press time, police spokesman, DSP Ahmad Muhammad, said the police learnt that some robbers were operating in a hotel in the area and acted promptly. He said the robbers shot four persons dead as they battled to escape when policemen arrived.
