Sudan: Nine-Day Fire Destroys 199 Homes in Bindisi Camp, Central Darfur

Bindisi Camp — 199 shelters burned to ashes in the Bindisi camp for the displaced in Central Darfur by a fire that lasted for nine consecutive days.

"The fire broke out on 20 February, and lasted until last Sunday, when we finally managed to extinguish it. The cause is unknown so far," a Bindisi camp elder reported to Dabanga.
