Mozambique: CTA Statement - 'Waiver of Fines for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises'

Maputo — The Confederation of Business Associations (CTA) has announced that as part of the dialogue with the government and under the social cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security (MTESS), all fines related to labour offenses applying to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are to be waived.

To this end, MSMEs should itemize all offenses detected during inspections and submit the list to the General Labour Inspectorate (IGT) of the province where the fines were issued, attaching documentary, photographic or other evidence, until April 30, 2015.
