Angola: Justice Minister Defends Need for Renewal of Judicial System

Luanda — The Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Rui Mangueira, pointed out the need for renewal of the Angolan judicial system, providing it with valences and skills in order to reduce the harmful effects of the new socio-economic paradigm.

The minister, who was speaking on Tuesday at the opening ceremony of the workshop on "governance and organization of Justice", organized by the Supreme Court, said that the undeniable economic and social development that the country has achieved, in recent years, greatly increased the litigation level in Angola.
