Egypt: Sharm El-Sheikh's Lighting Will Be Powered By Solar Energy Within Three Months - Governor

Cairo — The Egyptian government intends to use solar energy for all lighting in the resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh, which currently relies on solar energy for 70% of its lighting.

Khaled Fouda, the governor of South Sinai, where the resort city lies said on Tuesday that the shift will be completed within three months, according to a statement released by the cabinet.
