Nigeria: Woman Arrested Over Sale of PVCs

Ahead of the general elections, a woman in her mid 40s was yesterday arrested by the Nigeria Police, Kaduna, while attempting to sell some Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) following an alarm raised by the women leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of the Kabala ward, in Kaduna North Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The women leader of the ward Hajiya Hajara Mairiga told the police that the suspect whose name could not be ascertained as at press time, came to her house Monday and told her that she has her PVC and some other people's own for sale.
