Nigeria: Aviation - House Laments Poor Budgetary Implementation

Abuja — The chairman of the House of Representatives committee on Aviation, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, has flayed the unsatisfactory implementation of the 2014 budget in the aviation sector.

Onyejeocha disclosed this during the budget defence session by the Aviation ministry and agencies at the National Assembly complex in Abuja, stressing that it is an unwelcome development that out of the N12.3 billion allocated to it as capital expenditure in the last fiscal year, the ministry only got N5.6 billion.
