Nigeria: Court Strikes Out Suit Against Taraba PDP Governor Candidate

Abuja — A Federal High Court in Abuja, on Tuesday, struck out a suit seeking for an order restraining Darius Dickson Ishaku from being presented as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flag bearer in the forthcoming governorship election in Taraba State.

The suit was marked FHC/ABJ/CS/2014 and had Ambassador Musa John Jen as plaintiff, while Ishaku, PDP, Alhaji Adamu Mu'azu, the party's National Chairman, and INEC were 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th defendants respectively.
