Ado-Ekiti — Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, yesterday insisted that INEC chairman, Attahiru Jega must be sacked. This appears to contradict President Goodluck Jonathan's posture that he had no intention to sack Jega,

Fayose in the statement signed by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, said the president has the power to either sack or retain whoever he wishes adding, "If he does, heavens will not fall. Removal of Jega and any other appointee of the federal government is a prerogative of the president which no one can question, provided laid down rules are followed."
