Nigeria/Senegal: Flying Eagles Begin AYC Campaign Against Host, Senegal

Lagos — Nigeria's national Under-20 football team, the Flying Eagles will begin the quest for the Confederation of African Football African Youth Championship (AYC) for the seventh-time, as the team faces host nation, Senegal, in its opening match at the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor today.

Coach Manu Garba's team has been unbeaten in its warm-up matches, coupled with the fact that the team won the Super Six tournament in Abuja, which paraded teams like Dream Team VI, Enyimba, Kano Pillars, Warri Wolves and Dolphins.
