Malawi: Nyakankhe Comsip Cooperative Opens Local Soap Making Factory

Lilongwe - Nyakankhe Comsip Cooperative in Mchinji has opened up a local soap making factory which is improving the livelihood of people within the community.

The soap is made using palm oil, animal oil and cooking oil, mixed with caustic soda. However depending on the use, Nyakankhe soap can also be mixed with traditional herbs that helps in removing black spots in the body, smoothen the body as well as heal various body diseases.
