A multi-donor trust fund to deliver capacity development in Somalia has been launched by IMF.
The aim is to improve macroeconomic institutions, policies, and data systems. In a press statement released today (March 10) the IMF said the multi-donor trust fund has received commitments for $3million from the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, for $2.5from the Canadian Department for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development, and $1.1 million from the United Kingdom's Department for International Development.
