Tunisia: Campaign Raises Awareness of Smoking Ban in Tunis Carthage Airport

Tunis — A campaign raising awareness of the smoking ban in public spaces will begin on Thursday, March 12 at Tunis Carthage International Airport, the Office of Civil Aviation and Airports (OACA) said in a press release on Wednesday.

The campaign, initiated by the OACA, will be conducted with the relevant departments of the Ministry of Health and is part of the implementation of Articles 10 and 13 of the Law No. 17 of the year 1998 on protection against the dangers of smoking as well as the convention of the World Health Organisation on fight against second-hand smoke.
