North Africa: HM the King - New Development Model for Sahara Aims to Turn Region Into Hub Between Maghreb and Sub-Saharan Africa

Dakhla — The new development model for the Sahara region adopted by Morocco aims to turn this region into a hub between the Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa, HM King Mohammed VI said.

"The city of Dakhla will be at the heart of the future African economic hub, which will be devoted to serving peace and stability in the sub-Saharan region", the Sovereign pointed out in a message to the annual session of the Crans Montana Forum, held in March 12-14 in the southern city of Dakhla.
