Nigeria: Adedibu Ojerinde's Anti-Corruption Style in JAMB in Focus

The Oyo State born University Don, Professor Adedibu Ojerinde has changed the integrity-demeaning image of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to grandeur. Before the emergence of Ojerinde as JAMB registrar, the agency would release candidates' results three months after conducting examinations, however, in Ojerinde's first year, JAMB results were released within ten days. The 2014 JAMB results were released within four days of conducting the examinations while candidates got the results of the ongoing 2015 JAMB examinations within one hour via text message.

JAMB is now computer based (CBT). Ojerinde has systematically killed corruption in JAMB. All JAMB miracle centers have been tactically closed down without the involvement of the security forces. Ojerinde has killed corruption in JAMB without shooting a soul. Today, if you like, you can come to examination centers with your mobile telephones, nobody would disturb you. Those making money by sending answers to JAMB candidates on examination's day via their mobile phones are now jobless.
