Angola: Foreign Minister Back From Congo

Luanda — The Angolan Foreign minister Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti is since Monday night back in Luanda from Brazzaville (Republic of Cong), where he attended the 7th Session of the International Contact Group on the Central Africa Republic (CAR).

Addressing the opening of the session, minister Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti reaffirmed the commitment of the Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, who is also the acting chairman of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR), to the promotion of dialogue and trust within the framework of the pacification process in the CAR.
