Liberia: Voluntary Repatriation of 38,000 Ivorians Resumes April

The Liberian and Ivorian Governments in collaboration with the U. N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) have agreed to resume the voluntary repatriation of 38,000 Ivorians in Liberia in April.

According to a UNHCR release issued in Monrovia Wednesday, the agreement was reached at the conclusion of a meeting of the Tripartite Commission, comprising the governments of Cote d'Ivoire and Liberia and the UN Missions in both countries held March 12, 2015 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
