Egypt: Constituencies Division Committee Receives Proposals On Final Draft of Election Law - Minister

Ibrahim el-Henedi, the Minister of Transitional Justice and head of the committee entrusted with amending the laws regulating the House of Representative elections, said that the committee tasked with redrafting laws on the division of Egypt's electoral constituencies has received during the past couple of days a large number of proposals from parties and political powers regarding their visions on the final form of the laws.

"The committee will carefully study these proposals," he said, noting that most of recommended suggestions are in compliance with the amendments being introduced by the committee.
