Namibia: Govt Earmarks N$600 Million for Traditional Leaders' Vehicle Fleet

Traditional leaders will receive new four-wheel drive vehicles to replace vehicles bought six years ago.

Priscilla Beukes, the Deputy Minister of Regional and Local Government, Housing and Rural Development till last week Friday, made the announcement last week when she handed over two Toyota Land Cruiser Prado vehicles to the Chairperson of the Council of Traditional Leaders, Immanuel Kauluma Elifas, and his deputy Gaob Immanuel /Gảseb. The vehicles cost over N$600 000 each.
