Algeria: Car Imports Rationalized From 2016

Algiers — The government will rationalize car imports from 2016, when import-export licences come into force, Minister of Trade Amara Benyounes said Saturday.

"The ministry of Trade and those of Industry and Finance, in consultation with the Association of Car Dealers and consumer groups, will work for further rationalization of car imports," Benyounes told reporters on the sidelines of a visit to an international auto show in Algiers.
