Tunisia: Police Officer Placed Under Warrant Arrest After Bardo Terrorist Attack

Tunis — The investigating judge in charge of following up the case of the recent terrorist attack on the Bardo Museum issued, Monday, a warrant arrest against a police officer who was on duty during the incident, Spokesperson for the Tunis First Instance court Sofiène Selliti said.

During his inspection visit to the vicinity of the Bardo Museum adjacent to the House of People's Representatives (HPR), Prime Minister Habib Essid dismissed the head of the national security district of Tunis and other senior security officers working at the police station of Bardo.
