Ghana: Gender Minister Receives 2015 Dususu Award of Education

Government will continue to ensure gender equality, promote the welfare of children, and empower the vulnerable to create a harmonious society in which the survival and development of the sexes are guaranteed.

The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oye Lithur, made the point when she received the 2015 Dream up, Speak. Stand up (DUSUS) award on African Education or Excellence, for her contribution towards gender equality and the education of the girl-child in Ghana.
