Liberia: Court Denies Motion to Dismiss Indictment

The Criminal Court "C" at the Temple of Justice in Monrovia has denied a motion to dismiss indictments filed against Clemenceau Urey and Cllr. Stephen Dunbar, two of the ten defendants charged with economic sabotage, bribery and criminal conspiracy early this year.

In his ruling Monday, Judge Peter W. Gbenewelleh, said the defendants and eight other co-defendants were jointly indicted for the commission of the crimes of economic sabotage, bribery and criminal conspiracy in February 2015 and hence their indictments cannot be separately dismissed.
