Nigeria: Govt Engages Over 25,000 Persons Under Sure-P Graduate Scheme

Akure — The Federal Government has engaged not less than 25,000 graduates for skill acquisition and to gather experience under the Graduate Internship Scheme (GIS) of the Subsidy Re-investment Programme.(SURE-P) being implemented by the Federal Ministry of Finance.

Under the scheme, graduates are engaged and posted to firms for a period of 12 months for them to acquire skills and experiences that would make them employable or for them to acquire skills that will enable them to establish their own businesses.
