It was heart rendering listening to Nuru Ali (24) at the Tanzania Family Planning Association (UMATI) Temeke Youth Centre who had tears trickling down her face as she narrated how she was kicked out of school for falling pregnant.
Speaking at an event held at the Centre organised by ECO Bank, Tanzania, to mark Women's Day this year, Nuru is just one of the many Tanzanian girls who are unceremoniously thrown out of school as a result of unplanned for pregnancies.
