Tarime — IN the past, it was difficult for a traditional leader of Kurya tribe to talk anything against female genital mutilation (FGM). This is no longer the case at the moment.
A good number of the Kurya traditional elders are now talking openly that they will be educating their people that FGM is a harmful, thanks to continued campaigns designed to end the outdated culture in the area.
