Nigeria: Sokoto Residents Expresse Hope On Peaceful Elections

Ahead of the Presidential and National Assembly elections , Sokoto residents have expressed hope that the elections will be peaceful , despite apprehension on the parts of non-indigenes travelling out of the state.

Speaking with Vanguard Friday after the Jumat service at Abubakar mosque on Gusau road, some residents said they are ready to cast their votes today and expect the elections to be free and fair.
