Malawi: North Police Nab 94 in SADC Sweeping Exercise

Police in the northern region have netted 94 people suspected to have committed various crimes in a sweeping exercise which, they say, is also being conducted across the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.

Northern Region Police publicist Maurice Chapola told Mana the exercise, codenamed Operation Tengula, is conducted quarterly in all the SADC countries.
