The story is told of an MP, now deceased, who used to brag in public about his escapades with a married woman. He would proudly boast to his cheering audience that the woman was highly educated, which apparently sanitised adultery and made the man, whose education background was rather poor, a 'njamba' (a gutsy warrior).
With the support of his audiences, the 'honourable' MP made his adulterous exploits appear normal and acceptable for people of power and wealth. His careless adventure became the envy of many, who came to view power as a licence to ensnare any woman one desired, the man's level of sophistication aside.
