Tanzania: Kikwete Warns Religious Leaders Over Katiba Referendum

PRESIDENT Jakaya Kikwete has cautioned religious leaders over influencing their followers to vote against the Proposed Constitution during the referendum slated for late next month.

Addressing leaders and members of the Dar es Salaam Interreligious Peace Committee together with invited colleagues from across the country in Dar es Salaam on Saturday, President Kikwete said such leaders interfere with their voters' liberty to make crucial free decisions.
