Nigeria: Catholic Clergy Build Model College for Ijebu Community

Imuwen, a quiet locality on the fringe of Ijebu-East Local Government of Ogun State, came alive at the weekend when the South-west province of the Holy Ghost Fathers and Brothers, a Roman Catholic congregation, laid the foundation blocks for a missionary college to be sited in the community.

The mood of Imuwen community was captured in the performance of its cultural troupe, which welcomed guests to the occasion. For members of Imuwen, the proposed Holy Ghost Model College would be the closest secondary school to the village, after the government-owned secondary school in the collapsed many years ago.
