Nigeria: Anxiety in Bayelsa As Buhari Clinches Presidential Poll

Yenagoa — Uneasy calm yesterday, pervaded Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital and its environs, as the results of the presidential election were announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, showing the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Gen Muhammadu Buhari in clear lead.

Most of the commercial banks shut their doors to customers at midday as the final results of the election were announced.
