Tanzania: New Hope As Tarime Forms Child Protection Team

Tarime — FINALLY a child protection team has been formed to protect children's rights in Tarime District, Mara Region. Tarime is one of the areas in Tanzania reportedly having high rates of child abuse cases, according to officials.

Thus the formation of the team is a significant step in relieving children's from various forms of injustices. The district child protection team is made up of officials from key departments such as social welfare, migration, police gender desk, court, primary and secondary education, health, planning, community development, trade and legal.
