Algeria: Three African Smugglers, Four Clandestine Immigrants Arrested in Country's South

Algiers — Three smugglers from Niger and four clandestine immigrants of different African nationalities were arrested Wednesday at the country's south borders by the forces of People's National Army, said Thursday a communiqué of the National Ministry of Defence (MDN).

"As part of the efforts to secure the borders and fight against smuggling and organized crime, a detachment operating in In Guezam/6th Military Region has arrested on 1 April 2015, three smugglers from Niger and seized two metal detectors," the same source added.
