Sierra Leone: Rape Matter Goes to High Court

Magistrate Albert J. Moody last Friday committed to the High Court a sexual assault matter involving one Mohamed Rapel Sannoh, who is charged with the alleged sexual penetration of an 11-year-old girl, under section 19 of the Sexual Offences Act of 2007.

According to the prosecution, the accused person sexually penetrated an 11-year-old girl on 22 January, 2015 at Adonkia Village, in the York Rural District.
