Kenya: Child Mortality Still High, Doctors Say

Child mortality rate in Kenya is still very high, pediatricians have said. About 100,000 children below five years died last year from pneumonia, diarrhoea, malaria and birth-related complications.

A bigger percentage died from complications that arise during birth, also known as neonatal mortality.
