The late pastor of Westminster Chapel in London, Dr. Martin Lloyd-Jones once said, "We must present the Bible as the word of God, not the words of men, but the word of the Living God. Let us tell the people about its marvel, that though it contains sixty six books written at different times and in different centuries, there is only one massage in it. Let us tell them, they do not know it. It is for us to proclaim the word of God, especially at this critical time of our history."

You never know what you could come across in a book sale or an old bookstore. Rustic shelves at times hold very precious gems. This particular one was titled, "Let the Earth Hear His Voice". It was a compendium of plenary papers from the International Congress of World Evangelism held in Lausanne, Switzerland in the summer of 1974. It was a hardcover with a lime green dust jacket containing a series of essays from everyone from Billy Graham to the brilliant John Stott. There was one article in particular that caught my attention; it was by a Reverend Manuel Scott of California, USA, addressed to Christian missionaries but very appropriate for the times we are in.
