Lagos — Former president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Olisa Agbakoba, has urged President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari to study the report of the Oronsaye committee and ensure its implementation so as to reduce excess government spending.
Speaking in a chat with Daily Independent on Thursday, Agbakoba who frowned at the high cost of governance in Nigeria, especially jumbo pay by lawmakers said it is unethical for government to be spending 85% of the national budget on few officials at the expense of millions of Nigerians.
