Nigeria: Second APC Reps Candidate Wins Seat in Nasarawa Re-Run Poll

Lafia — A second All Progressives Congress (APC) flag-bearer has won the House of Representatives after a rerun conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in one electoral ward in Lafia, capital of Nasarawa State, weekend.

Alhaji Abubakar Sarki-Dahiru won the Lafia/Obi Federal Constituency seat, defeating a serving lawmaker, Dr. Joseph Haruna Kigbu of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), who sought a second term in the March 28 parliamentary poll.
