Namibia: GDP Slowed to 4,5 Percent in 2014

THE economy is estimated to have slowed to 4,5% last year compared to the 5,1% recorded in 2013.

The Namibia Statistics Agency said the 2014 preliminary national accounts show that the slow performance can be attributed to the tertiary and secondary industries that recorded slower growths of 6,3% and 4,7% in real value added, respectively.
