Rwanda Records Four Percent Rise in Tourists

Kigali, Rwanda — Tourism generated $304.9 million in 2014 compared to $293.6 million during 2013 showing a 4% rise according to the Rwanda Development Board (RDB).

According to the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration, Rwanda hosted almost 1,220,0000 visitors in 2014 compared to around 1,122,000 visitors hosted in 2013. The 97,000 more visitors corresponded to an increase of 9%.
