The newly elected lawmakers in Ekiti State have described the impeachment plot against the state Governor, Ayodele Fayose, and his Deputy, Dr. Olusola Eleka, as the handiwork of the impeached Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Dr. Adewale Omirin, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator representing Ekiti Central, Babafemi Ojudu.
The lawmakers-elect also called on stakeholders in the state, especially traditional rulers, to prevail on Omirin and Ojudu not to throw the state into chaos just because of their ambition to be acting governor and governor, respectively.
